| EUREKA TECHNOLOGY ANNOUNCES SDRAM CONTROLLER CORE
Los Altos, Calif., (February 1st, 1999) -- Eureka Technology Inc., a developer
of reusable intellectual property (IP) cores for the electronics, computer, and
semiconductor industries, today announces the delivery of SDRAM controller core
for ASIC and FPGA applications. The SDRAM controller core supports industrial
standard 16Mbit, 64Mbit, 128Mbit and 256Mbit SDRAM's in all configurations. The
SDRAM controller core also supports PC100/133 SDRAM DIMMs. The SDRAM controller
is available in Verilog, VHDL and netlist format.
The SDRAM controller is a very flexible design that can be used in both FPGA
and ASIC implementations. It features programmable SDRAM access timing parameters,
supports multiple data bus width and variable burst lengths. The SDRAM controller
operates at over 100Mhz on 0.35um ASIC technologies and between 66 to 75Mhz on
Altera and Xilinx FPGAs. Eureka Technology offers royalty-free licensing. Licensing
fee of the SDRAM controller starts at well below US$10,000.
